Sending Bulk Email at Scale

Email is the workhorse of outreach: a paper trail, formal proposals, and a ceiling you can lift by adding inboxes. The catch is deliverability — blast carelessly and you land in spam. Instantly runs cold-email sequences with deliverability built in, so it's the tool we'll walk through here.

The Instantly Flow

  1. Connect and warm up your sending inbox. Use a separate domain/inbox for outreach (not your main company email) and turn on warm-up for 1–2 weeks before sending volume, so you build sender reputation.
  2. Upload your creator list (name, email, and a personalization field for the per-creator line) as a CSV.
  3. Build the sequence — your first message plus 1–2 follow-ups spaced 3–4 days apart. Most replies come from the follow-up, not the first email.
  4. Insert personalization variables so each send pulls in the creator's name and your custom first line.
  5. Set sending limits and schedule — start slow (20–30/day per inbox), send during business hours in the creator's timezone, and ramp gradually.
  6. Launch and monitor replies, moving anyone who responds out of the sequence and into a real conversation.

Do's and Don'ts

  • Do warm up the inbox and use a separate sending domain — it protects your main domain's reputation.
  • Do keep volume per inbox low and ramp slowly; spread larger volume across multiple inboxes.
  • Do include real personalization in line one; generic blasts get marked as spam.
  • Don't send from your primary company domain at cold volume.
  • Don't use spammy subject lines (ALL CAPS, "FREE", excessive emojis) or attach files in the first email.
  • Don't skip follow-ups — but cap at two and stop the moment someone replies.
