The Flow

Install the IGDM extension and connect the Instagram account you'll send from (use a real, established account, not a brand-new one).
Import your target list — usernames of the creators on your shortlist.
Write your DM template with a personalization placeholder for the opening line.
Set safe sending limits — Instagram is strict about automation, so keep volume low (well under 50/day to start), add delays between messages, and send in small batches.
Send in batches and watch for action blocks. If Instagram throttles you, slow down immediately; pushing through gets the account restricted.
Reply manually to anyone who responds — move the conversation to a human as soon as they engage.

Do's and Don'ts

Do use an aged, active Instagram account with a complete profile — new accounts get blocked fast.
Do keep daily volume conservative and add randomized delays between sends.
Do personalize the first line; a templated "Hey! Collab?" gets reported.
Don't blast hundreds of DMs in a day — that's the fastest route to an action block or ban.
Don't include links in the first DM; Instagram flags messages with links from unfamiliar accounts.
